At XcelSoft we consider research as very important step in providing real solutions. Research is done at different stages. Once we get a query we do some research to explore the relevant market/area for which we are supposed to provide the solutions. We find out what competitors have done in the same areas to cater same nature of problems.

XcelSoft have a very vast experience in development. Through our experience and high level expertise in development felid we understand what actually our clients are looking for. Still we believe that the clients have deep insight in their business and there are still some areas where they have better idea of the real problem and issues for which they want solutions. • Waterfall Model is used for most of the projects where well-defined System Requirement Specification is produced and technologies or Platforms are well known to developers.
• Spiral Model is used for more risky projects and the main project is broken into more manageable mini projects where each mini project addresses one or more risks.
• Evolutionary Prototyping Model was used on some projects.

TERMS OF REFERENCE
XcelSoft has standard TOR structures. Following our defined TOR structures we define the project specifications that is its parameters, scope, range, outputs, sources, participants, budgets and timescales.
PLAN THE PROJECT
We Plan the various stages and activities of the project. We strive to work backwards from the end aim, identifying all the things that need to be put in place and done, in reverse order. Additionally we use brain storming and fishbone diagrams. For larger projects we use Gantt Charts, Flow diagrams for detailed project management planning, scheduling, costing and budgeting and other financials, and project management and reporting.
COMMUNICATE AND MANAGE PROJECT TEAM
We manage the team and activities in meetings, communicating and supporting. We regularly review performances, adjust project plans according to the circumstances and try to keep the team comfortable and perform better
COMPLETE PROJECT AND FOLLOW UP
At the end of your successful project we hold a review with the team. We Reflect on any failures and mistakes positively, objectively and together we discuss why they happened and how we can avoid them in future.
